Overview

Addressing the urban flooding, river–lake pollution and ecological degradation faced by China’s large and medium cities, this direction analyses urban non-point-source pollution, develops ecological sponge-city materials and evaluates the hydrological effects of low-impact development to promote sponge-city construction. Key tasks include urban non-point-source pollution control, sponge-city material development and low-impact-development hydrological modelling.
